Helpp with windshield source or replace, DC area 900

When I had windshield replacements on my 740s, I removed the wipers and cowl cover. Measure how high the center of the wipers are from the bottom of the windshield for when you reinstall them.

If the screen in the cowl cover is still held on by black gunk, or has fallen away, you might secure it with eight small zip ties spaced, four at the top and four at the bottom.

When the cowl cover is off, clean out any stuff below it.

On 740s, the cowl cover is removed by taking off about four small screws at the rubber seal at its bottom, I think that it hooks at the ends of the top of the cover.

I think that your car s the same or similar to my 740s.

My ‘88 had metal trim at the bottom of the cowl cover, my ‘90 had a black plastic strip - both came off the same.
