No fuel coming out from injector hose 1 200 1984

Hmm,

That’s interesting that the LH wasn’t available in your neck of the woods until 1986.
I wasn’t aware of that or your location.
By then, maybe you missed the trials and tribulations of the 1.0 system of … One year only runs of some components.
The engines also moved around from a B23 to a B230. Compression adjustment and so forth in various localities or countries. California being on their own most of the time.

From what I can tell my 1984 LH I1.0 engine is a little more low end torque minded than the my 1986 MPG wagon with the LH 2.0.
Maybe from the Differences being the changes going on in fuel management systems that continued on while moving in and around the turbo car adjustments throughout the eighties.
Marketing was a big deal in Volvos having an up swing in sales volumes.

Are you going to try a deep cleaning routine first?

I will have to research where those screens are in the distributor. It’s possible they are under the connectors for each hose.
I just remember a bit about being careful when taking apart the distributor. It involves precisely placing shims internally.
Make sure that the flap is floating really smoothly up and down. Just a whisper of air is supposed to lift it. So no binding is allowed or the whole engine runs poorly.
That thing does, mechanically, what the AIR Mass Meter does electronically. If kept clean outside and inside it works just as well, IMHO.
Just remember what they learn from K jet set the stage of what they wanted electronically.
Between sales of turbocharged and those emission folks growing into their own fields, the “whips” came out on the engineers and vendors!

Try poking around for more information on this sites own search engine as it works through google most of the time to get older postings of the K-jet era.

I use the monthly Sunday driver instead of Daily as I try to contribute both ways by posting.
It helps to keep the site alive for all the Model Tabs.

It beats a magazine subscription as I get to have some input to what I want to read, even if it’s my junk!

Let’s us know what’s happening as it entertains all the enthusiasts.
