240 DL, 1990 Engine Wiring Connector Identification Needed 200 1990

Hi Randy,

I'm like you, I'm not understanding the reason of showing us that connector when it's obvious that it's only a two power connector to a single component.

What he is having and issue with that's causing a no spark and consequently a no start has nothing to do with connect that simple. But then, he could have a bad fuse to the fuel injection circuit.
A corroded up fuse holder, out there under the hood on the battery side, is about as simple as it gets?
Many board members know this from lots of posts, to replace that with a weatherproof one that has a sealing cap. I still put some anti corrosive salve or film in there.

Speaking of the battery area, there's the electronics spark relay behind it on the fender that can become an issue. Another bone of contention in many posts about renewing the hear sink paste and the connector itself needs some occasional TLC about every ten years.
Same for the AMM connector. Gotta check them for corrosion if the rubber boot has a crack and for all the pins to be up high in their sockets.
All of these connectors have many more pins than the one in his photo.

Yep, he needs to report back and gives us more information to get more information.
Today is a world of networking.

Edit ... I just saw another post from him. You see reaching out helps! (:-)

Phil
