if you only need the motor, it should be swap the block and head into your 89 and it's done. and use the 89 temp sender in the 93 head. i think they are different between lh 2.2 and 2.4

if you want the lh 2.4 from the 93, then you have to swap everything-harness, ecus, amm, ignition-everything.
