Remembering Lucid (Bruce Young)

I'm sad to hear that Lucid died. He helped me in detail and in great depth several times, mostly was my 1989 245 and its complex ignition problems. I have printouts of our messages here on the brick board which I would take out to the car with me and one step at a time run through his suggested diagnostic tests, and then his recommendations for fixing.
I would also read threads which was some of the general new knowledge I wanted to learn about 240 Volvos that lucid was an active and frequent contributor. I often wondered how did he get to know so much?!
His enthusiasm and love of Volvos was deep, and quite apparent in his involvement here and the knowledge and helpfulness he showed.
I didn't know him personally but it appeared he welcomed visitors to wherever it was he lived, I don't really know. His advice was pretty much always with kindness and patience, if you can follow instructions precisely and not jump ahead of yourself or flop around with your own wild ideas/diagnoses.
Such a repository of knowledge that he gained over his work lifetime. I'm sure we will all miss his contributions and his presence.
