Alternator options 444-544

Ten years ago I installed a small 35Amp denso style alternator. Yes that sounds like its not enough amperage but I have never noticed a problem with voltage going below 13 or so while driving so I think its adequate. If I recall, it was a direct bolt on though I might have had to drill out the lower "mounting ear" and used a spacer on the mounting bolt. The part number was AND0212 from DBElectrical.

There are many others out there that are similar. Just google "New Mini Alternator 30A Denso Style 12V CW 1 Groove Pulley". At least one result on Amazon says it replaces AND0212. There are also some higher amp options but I am not sure if the mounting formats are identical.
