1992 245 fuel supply problem. Great car! 200 1992

Sorry, I hear the photo hosting part of this board is not working of late. I'd love to see your pics. If you can host them on a free image hosting site you can just include the links in a post.

The 1992 definitely came with an in-tank pre-pump. The only other wiring in that vicinity is for the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) on the differential housing. I see you describing that rectangular junction box -- that's for the speedometer/ABS.

I discovered no wires to my wagon's fuel tank once on return from a vacation. The rodents got to them. But you say you're fuel level indicator has never worked? Don't you suspect you bought the car from someone who modified it? What was the explanation for no fuel gauge?
