How do I unplug my ECU without damaging the pins? 200

Hi Kevin,

What's wrong that you want to disconnect the ECU?
What year 240?

I have a Volvo book for Jetronic 2.0 1983- that shows pressing a latch
to remove the connector. They say make sure that ignition is off.
The newer ones have a lever on the side.
Best to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes to be safe.
Whats your email? I'll send the book it has some ECU connector info.
It has trouble shooting and fault tracing that you should do before messing with the ECU.

You should hunt around for the Volvo greenbook wiring diagram for your model year.
It's your best system/wiring troubleshooting friend.
If you get lucky someone may have a valid link to find it on the web.
A hard copy is better, keep looking at Ebay, they come and go every day.

Bill
