Mystery Plugs and Wires in Driver's Side Footwell 200 1988

Hey folks, I know this is a bit of a longshot, but I figured it's worth a shot. I was doing some tidying up in the driver's side footwell of my '88 245 DL. I noticed several unused plugs and what appears to be one cut pair of wires. Does anyone have any idea what these go to? I can understand if the plugs aren't occupied, but the cut wires seems, um...not factory. Since this one is pretty much base trim, there might be stuff that isn't used, but I can't figure out what the yellow wire with black tracer is and black wire with yellow tracer are for. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hopefully the image uploads. If not, the main concern is cut wires mentioned above.
