exhaust manifold 900

1993 940 Wentworth manual turbo 200K

Gents, Ive had a Quick Look through the fan and previous posts but have a question nonetheless.

As others have mentioned I just want to replace the manifold to head gaskets. All the nuts came off fine, but I can't remember from when I did the head gasket years ago, how I got the turbo and manifold away from the head. The coolant lines can just pop off the turbo metal pipes, but what about the oil ones? I see one of them squirrels off down towards the block and disappears thereafter ... and I'm thinking that when I disconnect the exhaust bracket from the bell housing, the exhaust drops down out of the way. I'm just wanting to pull that turbo and manifold back enough to clean up and get those new gaskets in but don't want to bend anything.

I'd be grateful for any advice prior to me grovelling underneath in the street (no garage or drive) for the quickest/best way to do this job

many thanks
piers
