Is the defroster on?

In my '90 744 TI, the control in the dash cracked, leaking vacuum, causing the system to default to defrost.

I was actually able to repair the crack with plastic glue and restore proper operation.

Always check the FAQ, even on later cars, some of the systems work the same on all Volvos.
