Hello everyone,

My Volvo 240 engine idles smoothly, but when shifting into reverse, the transmission kicks, the idle RPM drops, and the engine shakes.

If anyone is familiar with this issue or has knowledge of a potential cause and solution, I would greatly appreciate your insights.
