squeak outside the car pressing the clutch 200

I have always noticed in recent years that when pressing the clutch I can hear a "squeak", a creak about halfway/end of the stroke.
I hear it outside the car, it doesn't seem to be something related to the pedal joint itself: you can't hear it at all inside.
I still don't know the car at all, I admit, but "by feeling" in the direction of the clutch pedal looking under the car there is a large spring about 10/15cm long in tension: I wouldn't swear to it but the noise I hear, if I open the window, seems to be from that area.

Can you give me input on this, both what to check and if this spring actually has something to do with it?
