Re: 240DL Driver's Seat 200 1987

On a side note:

I am also having problems with my '89 240's Driver's side seat. In addition to your problem, (I tend to find springs and wires falling out from under both seats.) I have a problem which seems widespread but rarely commented upon. That is, that the rear support bar, or the bar that is the main support running up the right side of the back support is bent backwards. The car came this way when I bought it used. It appears, when looking from behind that the right side of the seat is bending back . I can pull it forward, but the slightest bodyweight pushes it back.

Has anyone seen this or know of how to fix?
