Re: more winter handling questions

I've got the cheaper of the Blizzaks and probably won't buy them again. They are real squishy on dry pavement and their life seems to be awfully short. I'll probably return to my tried and true Michelin company. I had a set of Michelin snow tires on my 745 that I liked and transfered them to the wife's BMW and she loves them. (The ones with th "Y" shaped sipes which aren't available any more.) I've seen several posts by people who didn't like the Michelin Artic Alpin now being marketed. Looks like they compromised the snow to get a better dry and/or quieter tire. Too bad.
