Front End Noise 700 92

Help. A frustrating, and substantial, clunk has recently developed in my 92 745t. The noise occurs on the right side of the car whenever a fairly large bump is encountered. I have taken it in to have it looked at. All the bushings are fine and the right ball joint was replaced. The noise resurfaced shortly after I got the car back. I myself went through the front end and the engine compartment checking everthing I could find or think of that might be loose. Since the clunck is so obvious I was sure there would be something noticably loose. But there was not. Is there something I could have missed? Could the strut be rattling around inside its housing when I hit a big bump. Any help in tracking this frustrating clunk down would be appreciated
