windows closed when raining 700 all

Just wondering if this is a common problem. I have a 740T from '89 with air conditioning.

I always have my windows closed when it rains. On rainy days the rear windows and side windows get closed. Even though I have the blower on full speed. What is causing the problem?

I am not using the AC because the temperature is below 5C (celcius). The AC won't work below that temperature due to a safety lock. Also, I haven't used the AC in about 1.5 years.

The heater core doesn't seem to leak, because I am not loosing any coolant.

Is it normal that my windows get closed?
