bushing tooling 200 87

I have just purchased front and rear bushing kits including ball joints. I have the Bentley manuel and they refer to all the special Volvo tooling that is needed. Is there aftermarket tooling that has been used successfully? If so where can I pick it up and what is the name of the tool. I know that JCWhitney sells some bushing tools i.e., a press as well as some other tooling anyone use any of these? I'm looking for affordable tools not the overprice volvo specialty tools. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
