slips in overdrive 200 76

I'm having a problem with a '76 240. After driving for 15-20 minutes with the electric overdrive engaged, the engine will speed up when I start up an uphill grade. It's not the clutch, because it won't happen unless the overdrive is engaged. Is there fluid in the OD unit that needs to be topped up, or an adjustment? Thanks
