I LOVE my new(used) 240~!

It's got 174500 miles on it and still runs like a brand new car. Just put 500 something more miles on it today, but the car runs very well. Although it's a bit under power, you can't really ask much for this 11 yr-old 4 cylinder car. Only few chips and scracthes on the car, but all have been taken care of with some touch-up paint. The suspension bushings are a bit old, can feel and hear the clanking noise when driving over bumpy roads..other than those few little things the car is great~~~

I wonder if anyone has any problem with the speedometer on this particular model year 240....it seems like my car is not going that fast, but it would be showing that the speed is around 80 mph already~! Is my speedometer off or just the car is solidly built(and heavy) so I can't feel the speed?

For some reason I think if this car can have few aftermarket suspension add-ons, it would out handle my C70 with all the goodies installed. You really can't beat the price of $3K for such a great winter car.

Now I understand why they are so many people are still in love with their RWD Volvos.
