Re: experience with "k" cam 200 1984

If you're looking for torque, the K cam is not for you. A B23E produces its peak torque at 4500 rpm and only produces 2-3 more ft.lbs over the automatic 1984 spec B23F with the M cam... Not really worth it, if you're looking for low end power, but it does pull strongly from 2500 rpm on up to the redline. The A cam is a good compromise between power and low end grunt. If you want more juice, I'd look into converting the car to K-Jet, and then using a VX cam. It won't provide low end power, but will make the car into a screamer...
