experience with "k" cam 200 1984

Ok I have a chance to buy an K cam for my normally aspirated b21a, has

anyone used this in my simular situation? I know these should be advanced 5-6 degrees to have any low end power which is what i'm looking for or

would i be better off with a vx or the a cam i already have? also is there

a way to take a stock cam gear and have it machined to be 5 or 6 degrees

advanced without having to buy the ipd, mvp gear? the ipd cam/gear package

sells for $350 and i'm looking to get as much hpower on a budget, I got the

money but to cheap to part with it.

any ideas or personal experience would be a great help,

thanks in advance, mark.
