Questions on Pad Replacement/Flushing 200 1990

Ready to jump into brake work this weekend. Have new PBR organics, and hardware(pins,anti-rattle braces/wires).Girling front,ATE rear. Also need to flush entire system(Concerns of water and DOT3 contamination).Have Bentley manual and relevant posts from Brickboard.

1. With possible DOT3 contamination of Girlings, any other recommendations beside Bentley flushing procedure to rid old fluid in Girling cavities. Are there stagnant pockets in the calipers where old fluid could get hung up? Should I have a shop split the casings?

2.How to detect if dust boots and/or piston sleeve damaged?

3.If I understand VolvoGirl, the dust boots and piston sleeves pull piston back off pads after brakes released. I believe mine sometimes remain friction pressed against pads, causing thermal instability and resulting rotor warp. I really want to do as much cleaning/restoration of piston operation as possible. With calipers off,any problem in pushing brake pedal to where opposing pistons come in contact(i.e. they are extended as far as possible w/out splitting caliper), and then cleaning piston walls with emery cloth? What would I coat walls/dust boots/piston sleeves with for max protection and operation?

4. What's the best anti-rattle product to apply?

5. AutoZone has "Valvoline Synthetic Fluid. Label says it exceeds DOT 3 and DOT 4 specs. Is this o.k. to use. Seems hard to find strictly a DOT4 product. Suggestions on best fluid. I want this done right!!!

Thanks In Advance on all tips/non-Bentley procedures etc.
