Can't believe $8.98 solution may have fixed my problem 200 1983

After replacing everything Ignition related and fuel related on my 1983 240 GL w/B23F to solve my intermittent loss of power, would you believe a friends idea of trying a couple of cans of fuel injector cleaner may have solved the problem. Verdict is still out, but the car has not sputtered in 2 days (a new record). Could I have overlooked the obvious? It seems the answer may be 'YES!'. What ignition harnesses, coils, wires, grounds, and fuel pumps and fuel computer, couldn't solve,,,, two cans of fuel injector cleaner did!!!!!!

I'm looking at this as a good experience though. Look at all the stuff this car has that needed to be replaced at some time in the near future anyway. Corroding wires and weak pumps won't plague this baby anytime soon.

I want to thank all who responded with their thoughts and ideas and all the help you guys supported me with. Thank you and lets keep the fingers crossed.

Marty
