How to get to flame trap?? 900 95

My understanding is on the 95 940s,, the flame trap is buried under the intake manifold. I have used mobil one synthetic since I got the car.. I have only 55K miles on it and it runs great..just leave it alone???or clean it for preventative reasons..???? Seems hard to get at. Also at what interval would you change differential fluid...??? Do it now?? Thanks again guys..especially Steve and Abe.. regards..john
