Massive oil loss.......can oil pan gasket be replaced easily? 200 1983

In the last few days My car has used about a quart every 30 miles, and is leaking oil like crazy. I finally parked it today, and It look like the leak is coming from the oil pan gasket. Previously the car would leak some oil through the old seals, but it wasn't very much. When i park the car at night a ton of oil is leaked out, and i started it and warmed it up a bit, and could see oil dripping from the splash pan.

Question.... is it possible to replace the oil pan gasket without removing the whole pan, just unbolting it and fitting the gasket in there? I think I heard that to remove the pan a crossmember had to be taken off, which sounds like a drag. I have never done this one before. I still haven't looked closely into this problem, but I'll let you know when i find the cause of the leak.

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.
