Trans line ? 700 1989

I just drained and changed the auto tranny fluid and filter on my 1989 740 turbo. Had a fluid tube partially covering one of the bolts holding the filter. Question when I pulled down the tube to access the bolt did I break a tube seal? Are the tubes sealed with a o-ring or are they just a compression seal? The tube seemed to push up and in OK, but wasn't as tight as when first pulled down. Any info would be of help. Thanks Brad
