fuel pressure 200 1989

Can anyone tell me besides the fuel pressure regulator what else would have an effect on the fuel pressure? The problem started with a little problem starting the car first thing in the morning. Then it went to when you pulled out of the driveway I had bad acceleration until it warmed up. So I had a mechanic friend check the fuel pressure and it was low so I changed the regulator and it help the starting problem but the bad acceleration is still there. I've cleaned the brether system and had the fuel injectors checked all good. Any suggestions? When it warms up everything is fine.
