89 GLE for about $7500 - pass or take?

Greetings from the world of the 200 forum. I've come across an 89 740 GLE with 34K miles and he has zee papers to prove it. Potential wifemobile. Looks great - silver with red leather and drives and runs like new. All the options. No sign of accident damage. Leather looks like new - garaged. All dealer parts and paperwork shows all dealer maintenance. Since I am a stranger to the 740 I thought I'd ask the experts. Any input? He's asking $8100 and I'd offer about $7500. NADA and Kelly say anywhere from 7300 to 7600 depending on how you ask it. So is is keeper or a "pass"? Anythings to look for in this year to fail in the near future or perhaps already have been repaired. It has an automatic trans.
