short answer: no 700

the turbo CAN be bypassed on a 700, but the car will be underpowered.....compression ratio is lower on a turbo motor......but the hassle and expense of converting over to nonturbo is more trouble than fixing the turbo would be......I know turbos require more care and feeding than n/a motors, but I believe it's worth it.....turbos are definitely a hell of a lot more fun.......I run turbos--converted my 76 245 to turbo: hassles, yes; BUT DEFINITELY WORTH IT.........fix the problems; upgrade for enhanced durability, use mobil 1, let it warm up and cool down, and enjoy....
