I posted a message here about a week ago about a squeak in the driver's side of the front end on my Volvo. Thank you for your advise concerning ways to lubricate the ball joints and tie-rod ends. I've done this but it hasn't helped the squeak. I now suspect that it is the inner ball joint under the dust boot because the tie rod seems to be sympathetically vibrating along with the squeak. My question is: Is there a good way to lubricate this ball joint preferably without replacing the dust boot? (The dust boots are in good condition which seems contrary to what I've read about torn or worn dust boots causing the inner ball joint to go bad) Thank you very much for any advice!!
