Questions About R-Sport Springs 200 1987

How much stiffer are the R-Sport front springs, and were they used on the police package 240's? I'm looking to buy a set of stiff springs from a fellow BB lister that have come from an '84 244 police car, but I'd like to know something about how much stiffer the springs are before I buy them. Any help would be appreciated.
