FRONT SEAT, FOAM OR WEBBING? 900 1989

I know Idp sells the foam for the front seats, I'm guessing from some previous Postings that this is a common problem. WHile sitting in the drivers side, be right side is hitting the seat frame, the cushion is pushed out toward the back seats. My question is; is there a webbing behind the foam that supports the backrest foam? I am surprised that there would only be a piece of foam that squeezes between the backrest framing to support my back. Before I order the foam and get a surprise, I thought I'd ask. Also, after unclipping the bottom of the material, do I just lift it off the backrest like I'm taking off a Tee shirt?? Any comments will help.
