Changed coil, takes longer to start 200 81

I changed the coils between my 144 (new Bosch GT40 coil) and my 244 (original Bosch coil) because I was having trouble with the points on the 144 (when points were set higher than 54deg, the engine would shake quite violently above 4500rpm).

My 144 is running about the same except a little smoother under 1500rpm (dwell 54deg, spec 59-65deg) but my 244 (B23E,K-jet) now won't start in the first 10 sec, but then run normally.

Why won't it start but then be ok?
