+ Batt. cables- Copper lug broke 700 87

Hi All,

After replacing my regualtor I began cleaing my batt. wires and terminals and in the process the copper lug the attaches the starter wire to the main primary power cable, broke off. Right now I'm going to try and sodder in a new copper lug. If this does not work, does anyone know whether I can loom the starter wire with the other pos. line and attach to terminal using a screw down connection- or are these wires separate for a reason.

Thanks for your help,

Mike
