Just redid via DIY the wiring harness on my son's 83 245. Not a bad job, took 3 days of father/ son bonding and money saving. Remove the intake manifold,snip the wire casing,follow the wires,solder in new ones and viola...it started on the first crank. Look for Simon Eng's instructions in hte archives. Buena suerte, Genaro.
