Replace the rear control arm bushings only? 200 1984

I've scoured the archives for articles on replacing the front bushings on my 84 240 and saw a couple that said the big rear control arm bushing is prone to failure much faster than the front control arm bushing...and it's easy to replace without a press. Has anyone only replaced that rear bushing? Results? I'd like to save money and time if I can by not having to get those front arm bushings and take them to a shop to have them pressed in. Thanks for any comments.
