Changed the timing belt, but now won't start.... 700 85

List,

I just replaced the timing belt on my '85 760turbo but now the engine won't start. The crank is at TDC and the cam is at the notch on the cover, even when turning the engine over, everything is still lined up right, but, the spark is getting to the #1 plug when the crank is about 20 degrees short of TDC. Any ideas? I'm considering adjusting the distributor to meet my needs, but this isn't the right way to do it. I'm out of ideas. Everything is in time, but the spark. It's always early. I thought maybe I was 180 off, but I switched it and had no luck. Tnay help would be appreciated. Thanks,

Nathan A. Courtright
