Re: IGNITION TIMING GOES FULL RETARD AT WILL 200 1988

Ken, I am having what sounds like the same problem with a 760 B230FT, however, my car bogs from a start, or when I boot the accelerator to the mat. I also get a backfiring sound from the catalytic until I back off on the gas and then the car takes off! I think that everypart known to fit this engine has been changed to no avail. I see that one response was to check the MAF sensor but the Volvo manual for the 117K type of ignition control does not list that component. I would be very grateful if you could share any fix with me.
