I reglued the glovebox cover on my daughter's Volvo with urethane glue. This glue will stick almost anything to anything else. Let it run down into the gap and then use weights or small c-clamps to hold the cover in the proper position. The glue sets overnight and really holds well. Don't use too much since the glue expands to fill the gaps and too much will squeeze out along the edges (ask me how I know this). You can get this glue at any home improvement store.
