adjusting mixture 200 84

Hey all,

I know I've got a rich situation and I intend to

adjust the mixture on my 84.5 242ti. When I look

at the fuel distributer unit I see a hex bolt coming

out of the side of the unit. Is this the bolt I adjust?

Which direction will lean it out? I have not got a CO

meter to check the adjust ment with how much shall I turn it

in order to lean it out incrementally, how do I know if I've gone

too far? Are there any changes in idle that I'll be able to

detect as I adjust? Please advise.
