I'm wanting to upgrade my kids car to a full sized spare. The loca junk yards want $35 for one off a junker. That seems a bit high. I was thinking (uh oh!) that I could use on of the tires presently on the car as the spare at the next tire replacement and have the tire shop put a new, full sized, tire on the rim the space saver spare is on. Will this work, or is the space saver rim somehow limited? The space saver rim looks the same size to me.
