Getting inside driver's door 900 1995

I'm about to try to add keyless entry to the wife's 1995 940. I was planning on attempting it this weekend, so I thought I'd ask to see if there are any pitfalls or shortcuts I should know.

the electrical part of it should be within my power to figure out, but I wonder if anyone could give me the painless way to get into the door (i.e. remove the panel to gain access to the actuator, etc.)

Many thanks,
