Exhaust Pipe Color ALL

The inside of the exhaust pipe on all my cars has always be grey (while using Leaded fuel). I was always told this was lead oxide.

All my cars are now using unleaded fuel, so the pipes should now be black.

So why is it that one of my cars still has a grey exhaust like it always has even tough I'm using the same fuel in all the cars?

Weird huh?
