Two considerations 200 1991

1) Increase rear track width.

2) Follow manufacturer's recommendations.

Volvo do not list tyre/wheel combinations exceeding 205/55-16 for 240 series. At the time, they sell that spacer set to increase rear track. Somehow, they never said that 205/55-16 could not be used with the spacers so I was a bit surprised to see the installation instruction say I would have to cut my rear fenders if I use 195 (and wider?) tires. Also, they never said how this setup would be matched to their lowering kit I had installed earlier.

Longer studs come as part of the set. I still hope I will not have to undertake major body modifications to have all these parts work together, especially after reading about others' experience with 225 wide tires.

Thanks for the input

Andrew
