You're welcome! This is what its all about, ie sharing information and experience. The brickboard has defintely made the world a better place.

Its really kind of funny because I looked under the dash near the fuse panel trying to find that connection. I saw it on the wiring diagram, and I just new it was under the dash somewhere. I spent a few hours looking.

Then, out of desperation I started checking the connections at the ignition computer, the one at the front passenger side. I almost couldnt believe my eyes when I saw the connector. I was so convinced that it would be inside the car. I will say the bently manual does say the there are 2 connections at the fire wall. I read that later. It seems like we have to keep learning lessons over again. You know, like read the thing carefully and pay attention!!

Much respect to volvo for putting all those connections where they're easy

to get at.
