possible explanations? 700 1990

"Maybe the transmission downshift function receives a faulty signal.I'm looking for any explanation".

On your car, there's no auto trans control unit so IF what you're reporting here has happened at all, it's most like be purely mechanical, like your foot or a floor mat got stuck on the gas pedal somehow or your throttle cable is binding due to age and needs replacing.

It's also possible that you could have a problem with an ECT sensor (signally the ECU that the engine's cold, can give a higher than normal idle) or a bad idle motor (sticking, high idle) BUT neither of those could cause a car to suddenly accelerate from 20-50MPH "all by itself" while driving down the road.
