Why the blue smoke :( 700 1990

Just had a quick question concerning my 90 760gle(v-6). Upon the first start of the morning, normally after the car has sat for about 2-3 days, I get a small puff of blue smoke. The smoking only last for like 2 secs and its only right at start up. I can't get it to smoke any other time. Is this a warning of something serious happening..or is this something not to worry about? The car has 160,000 on it and it burns about 1/2 quart of oil every oil change. Anything to worry about fellow bricksters!!!!
