Should I restore? 200 1982

Hello All

I own an 82 244 GLT with a B23E. The car is really starting to rust. It needs new rocker panels and the area behind the rear wheels where the spare tire sits is totally rusted. If I was to try and fix this I would require that the rust be cut out and new parts welded in.

The seats are worn out. The drivers side is really torn up but the passenger and rear seats could be resewn. The engine has been rebuilt at 190 Kkm and now has 233 Kkm. Everthing works well.

The springs also need replacing.

Is this a project worth undertaking?

Has anyone else done similiar work?

William
