Turbo stalls at idle? 700 1990

HI,

my name is Frank and I have a 1990 Volvo 740 Turbo,

recently I built a custom intake system (using Autozone Civic Intakes), and it came out great-the only problem is the AMM had to be tilted 90 degrees forward (not upside down-just looks like the connector is facing upwards) and I couldn't put on the PCV heating sensor...well the good news is, there's no vacuum leaks (19") but the problem is when I boost up-and drop by back down- sometimes (not all the time) the car would suddenly idle low and then sometimes stall...I read the diagnostic system and it showed no problems...I thought it was the AMM tilted-so I turned it back 90 degrees (back to standard position) and it was a pretty tight fit...but the same thing still happened (my PCV hose is on though)finally I put everything back together-and then BAM-cars runs fine- (despite the old hose's slight vacuum leak at times)...does anyone have an answer? I appreciate it...Thanks

Frank
